Joseph Massoma & Sweet Sabasaba is a group that brings together bassist and singer Joseph Massoma and several leading figures of the French Riviera music scene: Eric Sempé on guitar, Manu Carré on saxophones, Philippe Cocogne on keyboards, and Cédric Le Donne and Bruno Desbiolles on drums and percussion. Each brings their own unique sensibility to a vibrant collective where virtuosity, groove, and freedom of improvisation interact with surprising coherence. Formed in 2024 during a tour in the South of France, this group is also the result of a profound collaboration that blends music with a deep sense of community.
